Phnom Odong – Kandal
Phnom Udong is located in Ponhea Leu district, Kandal. It is about 41 kilometers north of Phnom Penh. Along the way, you could see fishing villages and rice paddies. Enjoy the stunning view and meet with friendly local. The road to Udong Mountain is clearly marked, and the distance along this road to the former city is less than 4 kilometers. On arrival Udong, street vendors are selling everything from sweet palm fruit to roasted chicken cluster around the base of the hill.
There are three names for this hill: Phnom Udong, Phnom Preah Reach Troap and Phnom Edthareus.
Wat Phnom Thon Mond – Kandal
Wat Phnom Thom Mond is located at Prek Koy Commune, Sa Ang District, Kandal. The pagoda is 34.50 kilometers from Phnom Penh capital.
The monastery was built in 1954 by a monk named Rath Phann . Nowadays, the monastery became a tourist attraction in Kandal province. Local visitors, also, usually go to pagoda especially on the great public holiday and on the Buddhist holidays for praying for happiness and other wishes. It is well known with its natural beauty: trees on mountain, fresh air, animals.
Phnom Prasith – Kandal
Phnom Prasith pagoda is located in Ponhea Leu district north of Phnom Penh. From Phnom Penh, take a 24 kilometers short transfer to this pagoda.
Phnom Prasith is composed of two hills, the East Hill and the West Hill. There was a stories relating to religion and the Khmer king about East hill. On the hill, there was a large statue of the reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. Surrounded the pagoda, there is beautiful scenery, abundant fresh air and is rich in culture and history.
Koh Dach – Kandal
Koh dach, Kandal is a picturesque island which is located on the banks of Mekong River – upstream of Phnom Penh. Koh dach island is one of the popular tourist destinations in Kandal as well as in Cambodia. This island covers 30 square kilometers of land lying on the shores of Mekong River. The tourists who want to have a relaxation, can land to this secluded and sleepy island. They can reach the island within a minute from Phnom Penh by availing boats.

Tum Pek Pagoda – Kandal
Tum Pek pagoda is located at Krang Yau Commune, Sa ang District, Kandal province. In this pagoda, there are eight artificial temples constructed in the purpose of changing the area as the tourist attractive site by making roads around the pagoda, planting trees along the mountain valley and excavating ponds.
In addition the pagoda has arranged one-hectar wedding part for new couple to plant trees as their remembrance. In the pagoda has display the beautiful ancient objects for tourists.
