Begin our tour with the morning departure from Phnom Penh to Takeo Province – the Southern Province from Phnom Penh. Arrival in Takeo, then enjoy a simple but tasty lunch at a local restaurant.
After that, we have short sightseeing in Takeo. Visit the local market before boarding a fiberglass motorboat to zip along the city’s ancient canal, disembarking at the archaeological museum of Angkor Borei and the temple ruins of Phnom Da, the first work of pre-Angkorian period. En route, take note of the rural life unfolding along the shores.
Climb uphill the Phnom Chisor mountain which houses the well-preserved ruins of a 10th century Angkorian temple. Enjoy some amazing views over the typical Cambodian countryside.
Continue the journey on to Kep, Cambodia’s prestigious seaside resort of the 1960s, which takes 2 hour drive. Kep is now awakening to its former glory. The small town offers reminders of the past and a growing choice of activities including island trips, a national park, and the famous crab market.
During the dry season, Temple ruins of Phnom Da must be accessed via car (due to low water levels); the boat trip is only possible from June to March.

In this morning, we embark on a short boat trip (30 mins) to reach tiny but scenic and rustic Koh Tonsay island (Rabbit Island). Spend the morning at leisure exploring the island and relaxing on the tropical beach of this beautiful island. Enjoy your lunch on the island. In mid-afternoon, return to Kep and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning, free at leisure to explore the Crab Market, where water's edge selling famous Kep seafood: crab, shrimps, squid and fish are sold by local people. Enjoy lunch with fresh seafood. After lunch, your will be transferred back to Phnom Penh then continue to onward destination.
