    DETAILED PROGRAM

    Day 1

    Phnom Penh - Takeo - Kep

    Begin our tour with the morning departure from Phnom Penh to Takeo Province – the Southern Province from Phnom Penh. Arrival in Takeo, then enjoy a simple but tasty lunch at a local restaurant.

    After that, we have short sightseeing in Takeo. Visit the local market before boarding a fiberglass motorboat to zip along the city’s ancient canal, disembarking at the archaeological museum of Angkor Borei and the temple ruins of Phnom Da, the first work of pre-Angkorian period. En route, take note of the rural life unfolding along the shores.

    Climb uphill the Phnom Chisor mountain which houses the well-preserved ruins of a 10th century Angkorian temple. Enjoy some amazing views over the typical Cambodian countryside.

    Continue the journey on to Kep, Cambodia’s prestigious seaside resort of the 1960s, which takes 2 hour drive. Kep is now awakening to its former glory. The small town offers reminders of the past and a growing choice of activities including island trips, a national park, and the famous crab market.

    Note:

    During the dry season, Temple ruins of Phnom Da must be accessed via car (due to low water levels); the boat trip is only possible from June to March.

    Day 2

    Kep - Koh Toh Tonsay Island

    In this morning, we embark on a short boat trip (30 mins) to reach tiny but scenic and rustic Koh Tonsay island (Rabbit Island). Spend the morning at leisure exploring the island and relaxing on the tropical beach of this beautiful island. Enjoy your lunch on the island. In mid-afternoon, return to Kep and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

    Day 3

    Kep – Kampot

    This morning, free at leisure to explore the Crab Market, where water's edge selling famous Kep seafood: crab, shrimps, squid and fish are sold by local people. Enjoy lunch with fresh seafood.

    After lunch, you will be transferred to riverside town of Kampot. Have a short break at your hotel, before we start the afternoon sightseeing. Visit the Bokor National Park – an abandoned French hill station. Park comprises 1581km² of protected land, most of which is primary forest, particularly rich in endemic flora and home to globally endangered fauna such as the tiger, chestnut-headed partridge, and green peafowl. Explore the national park and have the sights over the beautiful ocean of Kampot.

    We continue to visit Popokvil Waterfalls, then return back to your hotel in Kampot to rest. For tonight activities, you could leisurely wander to explore Kampot nightlife or try a simple but effective ‘seeing hands’ massage at the hands of a talented blind masseur. Overnight in Kampot.

    Day 4

    Kampot – Sihanoukville

    At early morning, we make an early start for the 10 min walk from the hotel to the local fish market (arrive around 6AM). The villagers’ boat would have just docked and the fish and seafood is sorted and quickly sold off to middlemen to take to the markets.

    On the drive to Sihanoukville, discovering the beauty of Kampot province. We will visit a pepper farm which is well known for its premium quality pepper. We also visit a cave which decorated with a Buddhist statues offering great views over the province.

    Arrive in Sihanoukville around lunchtime, check in at hotel. Free at leisure.

    Day 5 + 6

    Sihanoukville Free Day

    Relax on paradise beach of Sihanoukville.

    Enjoy your day, lying on the beach or take part in one of the numerous activities on beach.

    Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh

    This morning, you will be free at leisure or buying souvenir. Check out of hotel by 12:00 noon.

    Our driver will transfer you to Phnom Penh airport for your departure flight.
